Each cup of coffee we sell helps to provide school meals for children in Malawi, Africa.<\/p>\n\n

\u4e00\u676f\u306e\u30b3\u30fc\u30d2\u30fc\u304c\u3001\u30a2\u30d5\u30ea\u30ab\u30fb\u30de\u30e9\u30a6\u30a4\u306e\u5b50\u3069\u3082\u305f\u3061\u306e\u7d66\u98df\u306b\u3064\u306a\u304c\u308b\u3002With a simple but heartwarming mission, we began our activities as Warm Hearts Coffee Club.<\/p>\n\n

Our coffee sales have a direct link to providing Malawian children school meal support.Each cup of coffee is filled with the blessings of the faraway land of Malawi and the stories of the people who live there.<\/p>\n\n

By sharing this story with people in Japan, we hope to spread this new method of donation, whereby the simple act of drinking coffee creates a direct impact on a meaningful social cause.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

About coffee<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our coffee beans are directly imported from the Misuku Coffee Growers Cooperative, based in Mzuzu in northern Malawi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Warm Hearts Coffee, we exclusively use this specialty coffee from Malawi, and we place care in roasting the beans to bring out its gentle acidity and rich flavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope that through a cup of our coffee, you will be able to experience the warmth of Malawi \u2014 the \"Warm Heart of Africa\" \u2014 and the unique characteristics of the beans carefully grown by the local farmers there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

About black tea<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Satemwa<\/strong> Tea Estate in southern Malawi is one of the oldest tea estates in Africa. Surrounded by vast nature, the estate practices sustainable tea cultivation methods which are suited to the local soil and climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The black tea sold at Warm Hearts Coffee is made using only high-quality tea leaves that are Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance certified. Carefully hand-picked, the tea is characterized by its rich aroma and deep flavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meaning behind the name \u201cWarm Hearts Coffee Club\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malawi is also known as the \u201cwarm hearts of Africa\u201d, a name which reflects the friendliness and generosity of its people, its striking landscape, and its warm climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cherish this \"warm heart\" and want to be a presence that connects people through coffee and tea grown in the fertile land of Malawi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warmth and comfort that a cup of coffee brings is truly reminiscent of the kindness of the people of Malawi. We hope to embody this sentiment in our name, \u201cWarm Hearts Coffee Club\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meaning behind our logo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The heart in our logo is symbolic of the \u201cwarm hearts of Africa\u201d, which Malawi is known as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The black rhinoceros represents Malawi\u2019s ongoing conservation and reintroduction efforts, as the country has become an important regional stronghold for this critically endangered species. Once on the brink of extinction, the black rhino has slowly begun to return to its natural habitat thanks to national conservation initiatives and international cooperation. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of protecting nature and preserving life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The logo for the black tea, on the other hand, is a red elephant. The elephant is an animal which has brought the pulse of life back into the land of Malawi. Between July 2016 and August 2017, over 500 elephants were relocated from Liwonde National Park and Majete Wildlife Reserve to Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve as part of a major conservation initiative to relieve pressure on the overcrowded parks and restore the elephant population in Nkhotakota. The project was one of the largest elephant translocations in history, and has brought life back to both the natural environment and the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founding history<\/h2>\n\n

Warm Hearts Coffee Club was founded by the NPO Seibo in 2018. Since its establishment, the business has been engaged in social contribution activities, supporting local farmers in Malawi and providing school meals for children by delivering Malawi-grown coffee to Japan.<\/p>\n\n

In 2024, Warm Hearts Coffee Club began importing Malawian black tea, expanding its product lineup. While the organization is now operated by a general incorporated association, profits continue to be used to support school meals through Seibo and donated to child support organizations in Japan, thereby supporting children in both Malawi and Japan.<\/p>\n\n

In the same year, Warm Hearts Coffee Club received the Social Products Award from the Association for the Promotion of Social Products, in recognition of our commitment to social impact and sustainability. We are grateful to everyone who chooses Warm Hearts Coffee Club as a socially responsible coffee or tea option\u2014your support is what allows us to continue this important work.<\/p>\n\n

The other is Chimoto Coffee<\/strong>, who is a long-standing coffee shop which has developed unique roasting techniques and a coffee culture over its many years of history.<\/p>\n\n

With the assistance of the techniques and the passion from our supporting companies, we want to deliver not just a project, but a valuable cup of coffee that holds a story within.<\/p>\n\n
